Introduction
Starting from January 2019, LHDN required certain companies that received the letter from LHDN to provide the employees' payroll details documents for audit purposes. The documents that required to submit to LHDN is Employee Master File, Payroll Register File and Payroll Chart of Account. However, LHDN didn't consider this as a compliance requirement, nor did they advertise the specifications publicly as the notice is to the business owner and not to the software company.
All of these reports are not available in MY Payroll v10 and below. However, we can generate a similar report as a workaround.
Below is the steps how to generate documents from ABSS Payroll
Employee Master File :
To generate the employee master file information, the user needs to create staff information table from ABSS Payroll. The steps are as follows :
1) Kindly go to Maintenance > Export > select the table to export. ( as per below)

2) Export the Staff information report to the text file and open it in Excel.
3 Additional information that required by LHDN is the spouse and children information. ( Users need to manually add in the additional required info and remove unnecessary columns from the export txt file)
Payroll Register File :
To generate the Payroll register information, the user needs to generate Payroll Register Archive and Payroll Monthly Breakdown report as the supporting documents. To generate Payroll Register Archive & Payroll Monthly Breakdown, kindly follow the steps below :
1) Reports > Payroll > Payroll register archive > select staff and month.
2) Reports > Payroll > Payroll Monthly Breakdown.
Chart Of Account for Payroll :
User/s can do it manually because the information will be coming from their accounting system if they are not using our premier product.
