Message prompt during create New Company Data File

Symptom

Error message “File ‘c:\abss payroll v14.1 MY\vars.dbf” does not exist, prompted in Setup Wizard screen when creating new company data file.

Reason

Company File name is missing, where it’s required for system to create the new data file.

To prevent the error message

• You can press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to end task the payroll application, rerun create company file step.

• Input the path and the file name (eg. Company A) in Destination Folder and File Name field under the Create Company File step.
• Follow by clicking the Next button to proceed with next step, you will be able to create your company file.
