What is LGEC?
LGEC stands for Let's Get Everyone Connected. It is an ABSS initiative designed to give existing ABSS desktop users greater flexibility in how they manage and access their accounting datafiles — without disrupting the way they work today.
At its core, LGEC enables businesses that are currently running ABSS on a single serial number to selectively connect chosen company data files to ABSS Accounting/Premier Connect (our cloud-connected platform), while allowing other data files to remain fully offline on their desktop. This means you are not forced to choose between desktop and cloud-connectivity — you can have both applications working side by side under the same serial number you already own.
Why is ABSS Launching LGEC?
With the recent GST InvoiceNow requirement from IRAS, we understand that not all company data files under your serial number are required to comply. LGEC is our response to that. With LGEC, you can opt to only connect those data files that require GST InvoiceNow, and continue using the rest of the data files without any change to your current setup or serial number.
How Does It Work?
Your existing ABSS serial number remains unchanged. What changes is that selected company data files can now be linked to ABSS Accounting/Premier Connect. Here is a simple illustration:

Both your connected data files and your offline data files continue to operate under the same ABSS serial number. You do not need to purchase a new licence or change your existing setup.
Who Should Consider LGEC?
