Introduction
This document outlines the feature enhancements within the ABSS product suite:
- ABSS Accounting Connect v2.0
- ABSS Premier Connect v2.0
Enhancement #1: Add classification code for Supplier Card - Buying Details
Users can now establish a default classification code for suppliers involved in importing goods or services, as well as for monetary payments to agents. This setting will override the default classification codes from the account or item list during purchase entries, ensuring a more streamlined and accurate purchasing process.
Enhancement #2: Add tax exemption detail for Customer Card – Selling Details
This enhancement enables user to define the tax exemption detail for specific tax type:
In Service and Item Invoice layout, when a user defined tax code with the below SST type ESC12, ESC34, ESC5, ESSA, ESSB, EXP0, TD06 or TD08 is selected, the tax exemption detail from customer selling details will be retrieved and submitted to LHDN.
Enhancement #3: Blank rows spacing in transaction screen
This enhancement allows the ABSS system to identify values entered below blank row spacing in the transaction screen, ensuring that accurate and correct data is transmitted to the LHDN portal. This functionality guarantees that the information recorded in the ABSS system aligns with what is received by the LHDN portal, promoting consistency and compliance in reporting.
Enhancement #4: Support for Zero Value in LHDN E-Invoice
This enhancement allows users to issue LHDN E-Invoices with zero values, including scenarios where the quantity or unit price is zero. This feature enables greater flexibility in invoicing, accommodating various business needs while ensuring compliance with LHDN requirements.
Enhancement #5: Sync contact enhancement
This enhancement to the ABSS system improves the synchronization of high-volume customer data within the current Sync Contact feature. The enhancement implemented ensures that customer contacts are now synced seamlessly, providing a more reliable and efficient experience. Users can expect improved accuracy and consistency in their contact data management.
Enhancement #6: Company Profile enhancement under ABSS Connect
This enhancement allows ABSS system subscribers to specify additional billing addresses for their subscription if they are affiliated with a holding company or a third party, rather than being the company owner.
Additionally, on this screen, the company owner is permitted to update the company name and business registration number (BRN) should any changes occur in the future. This feature ensures accurate and up-to-date billing information.
Enhancement #7: Enhanced LHDN Validation Status View
This enhancement provides users with a summarized view of the LHDN validation status within the ABSS Connect web portal. This improvement simplifies the process of checking LHDN e-invoice validation status, as users previously had to verify each status individually within the ABSS system.
By streamlining this process, users can save time and enhance their efficiency when managing LHDN validation checks. This feature aims to improve overall user experience and operational effectiveness.
